A new study suggests that Obstructive Sleep Apnea makes atherosclerosis worse, linking it to heart disease and stroke. It can impair mental abilities, emotions, and performance. It is very common, as common as adult diabetes. Obstructive Sleep Apnea can strike anyone at any age, even children. It can cause memory problems, weight gain, impotency, and headaches. This clinical disorder is often associated with job impairment and motor vehicle accidents.
