What types of problems can be treated with Sonotron Therapy?

 


Chronic Neck Pain

  1. Cervical Strain - the most common cause of neck pain seen in the office, frequently referred to as a 'whiplash injury', complaints are usually of neck pain and neck stiffness, for relieving pain and decrease stress on the cervical musculature as well as increasing the range and speed of motion.
  2. Cervical Disc Disease - complaints are usually of neck pain and neck stiffness, pain radiating down the arm, sensation of numbness and tingling of the upper extremity - for relieving pain due to inflammation and increasing range and speed of motion of the neck.
  3. Cervical spondylosis - for relieving pain and increasing range and speed of motion of the neck.

Chronic Shoulder Pain

  1. Rotator Cuff Tendonitis - for decreasing
    inflammation, increasing motion thereby
    enabling the shoulder capsule to be
    stretched and the rotator cuff to be
    strengthened over time.
  2. Tears of the Rotator Cuff - for relieving pain due to this condition and increasing the range and speed of motion.
  3. Dislocations of the shoulder - to relief pain and relax muscles prior to traction.
  4. Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder) - for decreasing pain and increasing range and speed of motion of the shoulder joint.
  5. Bicipital Tendonitis and Rupture Of The Long Head Of The Biceps - for relieving pain such as anterior shoulder pain and pain when lifting overhead or lifting in front of his or her body; for increasing range and speed of motion of the arm.
  6. Little League Shoulder - a syndrome of pain associated with the motion of throwing, especially in children - for relieving pain and increasing range and speed of motion.
  7. Chronic Elbow Pain

  1. Lateral Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow) - an inflammation of the tendinous insertion of the forearm and wrist extensors into the lateral epicondyle - for relieving pain and swelling, if any, at the musculotendinous insertion site as well as increasing the range and speed of motion of the elbow.
  2. Medial Epicondylitis - an inflammation of the common tendinous insertion of the forearm and wrist flexors into the medial epicondyle - for relieving pain and increasing the speed and range of motion of the elbow joint.
  3. Ulnar Neuropathy - pain radiates down the medial forearm into the little and ring fingers - for relieving pain and increasing range and speed of motion.
  4. Osteochondritis Dissecans Of The Capitellum - for relieving pain and increasing range and speed of motion
